At Phoenixville Hospital, diagnostic imaging is used to create a graphic depiction of the structures and functions of the body’s organs and other internal systems. These images are used to examine and diagnose certain medical conditions. Being able to see inside the body without cutting it open was perhaps the most important medical advancement of the 19th century. At Phoenixville Hospital, we use advanced imaging technologies, including 3D Mammography, computed tomography and interventional radiology to offer a clear picture of possible issues inside the body. As a part of Phoenixville Hospital's clinical affiliation with the University of Pennsylvania Health System, our board-certified radiologists are members of the Department of Radiology at the University of Pennsylvania. Our technologists are certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists®, as well as specialty certified for each imaging modality. Our mammography department is certified by the American College of Radiology. And each year, our highly trained team performs more than 100,000 imaging procedures.
