Amy Grooms, M.D., joined the Psychiatric Research Institute as an assistant professor in 2019. Dr. Grooms graduated from UAMS in 2013 and then completed her General Adult Psychiatry Residency and Consult-Liaison Psychiatry Fellowship at Brown University. Dr. Grooms primarily provides psychiatric consultation services to patients in the UAMS emergency department and general hospital. She is also the medical director for the Interventional Psychiatry Program at PRI, which offers advanced treatments for treatment resistant depression including ECT, SAINT TMS, IV ketamine infusions and esketamine treatments.
