About Aslam Syed, MD
Aslam Syed, MD, has brought Gastroenterology and Hepatology back to Knox County. He received his medical degree from the American University of Integrative Services (AUIS) in the Netherlands Antilles, Dutch Caribbean/Tucker, GA. He then completed his Internal Medicine residency at the MetroHealth/Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio, and his Gastroenterology fellowship at Allegheny Hospital in Pittsburgh. Dr. Syed is also Board-Certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. Dr. Syed will also offer comprehensive care for acute and chronic liver disease. Dr. Syed earned his Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Cleveland, OH. Outside work, he enjoys running, weight training, squash, and table tennis.
