Jeremy Luedtke, M.D., finds being a surgeon fulfilling because he can guide his patients through the decision-making process and help fix their problems. His goal is for his patients to get the best care they can get: the same care that he would want for his own family members.
Dr. Luedtke is board certified in both general surgery and surgical critical care. He received his medical degree from Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, where he also completed his surgical internship. He then completed his surgical residency at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan, and a surgical critical care fellowship at the University of Minnesota.
In addition to general surgery, Dr. Luedtke performs minimally invasive procedures using robotic surgery as well as advanced laparoscopic techniques. He has performed more than 500 procedures using robotic surgery and serves as a proctor training surgeons through the Midwest and beyond. Robotic surgery allows him to perform complex procedures with more ease, while often allowing patients to endure less pain and recover faster, allowing them to return to their daily activities sooner.
Dr. Luedtke looks forward to the opportunities ahead and is eager to be part of the surgical team at Northwest Porter and La Porte Hospitals. He is excited to be busy and take care of the community.
