Kalyana C. Nandipati, M.B.B.S. is specially trained in esophageal surgery and bariatric surgery. He also has expertise in minimally esophagectomies (MIE, for esophageal cancer) and advanced reflux and endoscopic surgeries. Dr. Nandipati has co-authored nearly 75 peer-reviewed articles and abstracts on a variety of subjects, and written several textbook chapters including in the field of reflux disease, weight loss surgery and more. Dr. Nandipati is the director of the esophageal center at CHI Health Creighton University Medical Center Bergan Mercy. Esophageal center has been actively involved in providing expert opinion for difficult foregut issues like reflux disease, barrett’s, motility disorders like achalasia and esophageal cancer.
