Marcus J. Mittelsteadt, MD, is originally from Apple Valley, Minnesota. He completed undergraduate education at St. Olaf College followed by Creighton University School of Medicine. After medical school, he returned to Minnesota to complete his residency training in Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Minnesota.
After residency, Dr. Mittelsteadt traveled to Grand Rapids, Michigan to complete his fellowship training in Foot and Ankle Surgery with renowned surgeons Donald Bohay and John Anderson. His training focused on Ankle Arthritis and Ankle Replacement, Foot Deformity Reconstruction, Bunion surgery and Foot and Ankle Sports injuries and instability. Dr. Mittelsteadt’s practice now treats a wide range of lower extremity ailments from the Hip to the Foot and Ankle including Knee and Ankle Replacement.
In his spare time, Dr. Mittelsteadt is actively engaged in his community. He also enjoys outdoor activities including hunting, fishing, and hiking.
