About Matthew P West, MD, CSCS
Dr. Matthew West is a board-certified interventional spine and musculoskeletal medicine specialist who joined Nebraska Spine + Pain Center in 2019. He specializes in treating a wide array of spine-related conditions and focuses on improving functionality and mobility to get patients back to the life they love.
Dr. West attended Creighton University in Omaha for his Bachelor of Science degree in exercise science. He then attended the university’s school of medicine to complete his Doctor of Medicine degree. After graduating, he underwent an internal medicine internship at Creighton University Medical Center - University Campus. For his residency, Dr. West completed the physical medicine and rehabilitation program at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. Committed to additional education and training, he finished the ACGME accredited pain/spine fellowship also at the Medical College of Wisconsin.
In his spare time, Dr. West enjoys spending time with family and friends, sports, coaching, home improvement projects, music, and traveling.
Dr. West is available to see patients at Nebraska Spine + Pain Center in Omaha as well as at our satellite office in Columbus.
