About Dr. P. Shawn Hatfield

Dr. Hatfield is a native Oklahoman who attended Oklahoma State University graduating with a Bachelors in Biological Sciences. He then attended the Dr. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, IL. Following his graduation from medical school he completed a three-year surgical residency in Chicago, IL with a major focus on complex reconstruction of the foot and ankle including total ankle joint replacement.

Dr Hatfield also treats sports injuries with the common goal of returning the athlete to their activities in a timely fashion. He served as chief resident during his residency and has published several peer reviewed journal articles. Dr. Hatfield is board certified in foot and ankle reconstruction including total ankle replacement surgery and treats all conditions of the foot and ankle. He enjoys working with each patient to develop a targeted treatment plan individualized for the patient’s needs. During his free time Dr. Hatfield enjoys spending time with his family, is active in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and is passionate about physical fitness.
