About Robert S. Leak, MD
Dr. Robert Leak has practiced hand and upper extremity surgery in the Myrtle Beach area since 2002. Dr. Leak graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor of science degree from the University of Oklahoma in Norman, Oklahoma. In Oklahoma City, he graduated from The University of Oklahoma College of Medicine with distinction in earning his medical doctorate before completing a general surgery internship and an orthopedic surgery residency there as well.
Dr. Leak followed his residency with AOTrauma fellowship training in Heidelberg, Germany. He then underwent additional training through a hand surgery fellowship at the Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Leak is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and also holds a Subspecialty Certificate in Orthopaedic Surgery of the Hand. He is available to see elbow, hand, and wrist patients in Myrtle Beach at our Carolina Forest office.
