Dr. Mackey received her M.D. from Vanderbilt University in 1989, and completed her internship and residency at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston in 1993. She graduated with a B.S. in Biology from Rhodes College in 1985. She is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and is a fellow in the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She is a member of the Tennessee Medical Association, the Nashville Academy of Medicine, and the Thegos Society.
