Vicki Sharma, DO/MBA/MS is a board-certified general surgeon who completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Arkansas-Fayetteville. She attended medical school at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences where she also obtained her MBA in Healthcare management and master’s in clinical anatomy during her medical school training. She then went on to complete her 5-year general surgery residency training in Detroit, Michigan at Ascension Macomb-Oakland Hospital.

Dr. Sharma offers a wide range of skills to our patients. Her primary specialties include general surgery, breast surgery, and robotic surgery. She is a dedicated member of the breast cancer team through Mercy Hospital’s Comprehensive Breast Center. She works with a multi-disciplinary team to provide excellent breast care to the community. In addition, she provides multiple other services including colorectal surgery, hernia surgery, minimally invasive surgeries, endoscopy, and acute general and trauma surgery.

Dr. Sharma’s husband is also a physician in Orthopedic surgery. They are both excited about providing care together to the local community. In their free time, they can be found enjoying Lake Michigan, traveling, and spending time with family.
