What could we do to improve?

Split payments with care credit option could use some work

From Springdale, AR on April 14, 2023

What did you like most about using MDsave?

I don’t even know what that is. I have an email for it, but was told nothing about it. Since we don’t plan to return, it doesn’t matter. I assume this is what happened when my insurance wasn’t taken and someone just asked for my fiancés card.

What could we do to improve?

Literally anything. The front desk staff was extremely rude and unhelpful, only checked if some people had everything they needed but not others, at one point I was told “sounds like a problem for you to figure out” when I said I couldn’t hear/understand the very long answer that was mumbled barely in my direction about a question I asked… staff was very loudly talking on their phones or nearly yelling down a hall for their coworker friend. My insurance info was never taken, just my fiancé’s card. When I got back to do my blood test, I was vaguely told “sit here” in a room with numerous chairs. My blood was taken without any word. Then I was promptly told “bye, have a good day.” My fiancé and I stood there confused about if we waited for our results there or if we were supposed to expect a call and the nurse or doctor just repeated 2x “bye, have a good day.” I left never wanting to come back. We actually stood outside the front door for a while saying “what just happened.” I never got a call about my results, so I called nearly 7hrs later to check in on that. The person on the phone relayed me to someone else to help track down my results. That doctor asked what even brought me in today (which is a huge car wreck that I thought was making me miscarry). That was the FIRST time I was asked anything at all besides name/DOB/ph#/email. Turns out, my results had WELL been done before the 7hr mark when I called. And it turns out theoretically none of my info was in the system. The doctor I spoke to on the phone was very confused about why I was calling/what for/what happened today, she had no idea I had seen the emergency room (Northwest) on Monday and was referred to visit Willow Creek, there was no note about that, or who my doctor was or what my hCG level was at the ER. It was like I was only in the system as a name because a payment was taken. I was livid the ER told us seeing Willow Creek would’ve been a better option than seeing them again. Nearly all of my fiancés family was born at Willow and even he agreed the hospital was nothing like it was pre-Covid. We agreed there is zero way we could work with you based off what we witness and went through today. Within 5 minutes of signing in and waiting, we knew going to WC was a mistake - just off the front desk. Then things got much worse as the day progressed.
