Dr. Aevan McLaughin is a fellowship-trained weight loss surgeon. She received her undergraduate in Neuroscience from Dickson College, then went on to The Ohio State University College of Medicine. While at The Ohio State University, she received the Ferguson Award in Surgery; those who receive the award show academic excellence, motivation, and achievement in surgery.
McLaughlin went on to do a General Surgery Internship, Residency, and minimally invasive surgery Fellowship at Alpert Medical School of Brown University.
Dr. McLaughlin is a member of many organizations, including; Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons, the American Society for Metabolic Bariatric Surgery, and the American College of Surgery.
Dr. McLaughlin is very passionate about her field of work and loves being able to help people reach their goals.
