This includes an abdominal myomectomy (open). This is a surgical procedure involves removing fibroids from the wall of the uterus through an incision.
Price Details
Your purchase includes the following services:
- Facility feeoperating and recovery room services & supplies for a normal inpatient stay (average 1 to 2 days) which will be determined by your physician at Augusta Health
- Physician feetreatment and procedure-related postoperative follow-up visit(s) within 90 days of surgery. Does NOT include the initial evaluation to determine the need of the procedure.
- Anesthesiologist feeregional or general anesthesia for the entire duration of the procedure
- Pathology feespecimen(s) examination and tests for diagnosis. This test does not include the pathologic workup of malignancy. If malignancy is discovered during your procedure, additional charges will be incurred.
- Hospitalist feeDOES NOT INCLUDE THE HOSPITALIST FEE. Hospitals often contract with hospitalist groups who provide care to patients if the primary care physician becomes unavailable. If your situation requires hospitalist services, you will receive a bill from the hospitalist group.

Dr. Keatts has been serving women in the Shenandoah Valley since 2002. She grew up in Reston, Virginia and chose our area to practice after completing her Residency. She and her husband have raised three daughters in Staunton. All her children were delivered by certified nurse midwives in a hospital setting.
