Dr. Andrew Valiquette is an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in shoulder and elbow surgery, with expertise in sports-related injuries, fracture care, joint replacement, and complex reconstruction. He treats patients of all ages, from young athletes with throwing injuries and shoulder instability to older adults with arthritis, rotator cuff disease, and degenerative conditions.
Raised on a small farm in southwest Ohio, Dr. Valiquette completed his undergraduate education at Marquette University, where he developed a lasting connection to Wisconsin. He attended medical school at Creighton University before returning to Wisconsin for Orthopaedic Surgery residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He then completed advanced fellowship training in Shoulder and Elbow Surgery at the University of Colorado.
During fellowship, he worked alongside team physicians caring for athletes from the University of Colorado Buffaloes, Colorado Rockies, and Colorado Avalanche. His training also emphasized primary and revision shoulder and elbow replacement, complex reconstructive surgery, and fractures involving the clavicle, shoulder, humerus, and elbow.
Dr. Valiquette is committed to thoughtful, individualized care focused on reducing pain, restoring function, and helping patients return to the activities that matter most. Outside of work, Andrew enjoys spending time with his wife and three boys, hiking, trail running, road biking, and playing golf.
