Anuj Prasher, MD is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon and partner at South Florida Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine. A native of Detroit, Michigan, Dr. Prasher is a graduate of Wayne State University, both for his undergraduate and medical school education. He completed his Orthopedic Surgery residency at The University of Toledo, in Toledo, Ohio, and a fellowship Spine Surgery at The University of California, San Francisco.

Dr. Prasher has training in all aspects of spinal surgery, including adult and pediatric deformity, degenerative disc disease, tumor and trauma, as well as to the operative and non-operative treatment of cervical, thoracic, and lumbar pathology. He has participated in cases utilizing minimally invasive, anterior and posterior surgical approaches. Dr. Prasher strives to take time and care to listen to every patient, so he can understand their concerns and develop the appropriate treatment plan that will best suit their lifestyle.

Dr. Prasher joined South Florida Orthopedics & Sports Medicine as an orthopedic surgeon in September 2012. He is a Member in the North American Spine Society, AO Spine North America and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Dr. Prasher has presented nationally and his research is published in several peer-reviewed journals.
