Procedure Details

This includes a unilateral or bilateral duplex scan of aorta or arterial inflow of abdominal, pelvic or other organs. This is a non-invasive procedure that uses high frequency sound waves (ultrasound) to create a color map of the blood flow of the arteries. This procedure may only be purchased for patients who are at least 18 years old.

At Fannin Regional Hospital, diagnostic imaging is used to create a graphic depiction of the structures and functions of the body’s organs and other internal systems. These images are used to examine and diagnose certain medical conditions. Our diagnostic imaging team includes board certified radiologists and registered technologists. They perform a range of specialized services, such as doppler U/S, myelography, thallium scans, echo cardiograms and guided biopsies. We also provide MRI services.
