General Surgery Established Patient Office Visit

I knew I wanted to go into medicine from a young age. My father is a physician as well and I grew up helping him around his office. When I got to medical school, I decided I wanted to go into general surgery because of the range of different operations we can perform and the ability to help patients manage acute and long-term conditions. I am most passionate about robotic surgery. My residency program was very robotic-heavy. I think it has a lot of benefits for certain patient populations and I'm very glad that Ardmore has that capability. With robotic surgery, we can do gallbladder surgery, hernia surgery - specifically ventral, umbilical and inguinal hernias. The most gratifying part of practicing medicine for me is getting someone through their illness, getting them out of the hospital and back home and then seeing them in the office and following up with them and see that they're doing better.
