Changxing Liu, MD, PhD, is an ear, nose and throat specialist (ENT), called an otolaryngologist, and a head and neck surgeon at Ascension St. John in Tulsa and Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Dr. Liu provides comprehensive care for all conditions affecting ear, nose, and throat, and the head and neck areas, including infection, trauma, tissue defects, tumor growths, and functional issues. Dr. Liu, a fellowship-trained head and neck surgical oncologist and microvascular reconstructive surgeon, accredited by the American Head and Neck Society, specializes in treatment of tumors and cancers of the head and neck region (head and neck surgical oncology), including benign and malignant lesions of skin, lips, oral cavity, pharynx, larynx, orbit, nasal cavity, paranasal sinuses, salivary glands, thyroid and parathyroid glands, and neck.

Dr. Liu specializes in microvascular reconstructive surgery, transoral oral robotic surgery, skull base surgeries, complex upper aerodigestive tract, facial reanimation surgeries and all types of facial trauma. Dr. Liu performs all types of free tissue transfers, often called free flaps, for any types of tissue defects affecting the body, especially in head and neck areas. He performs over a hundred free flaps annually.
