Dr. Kneip is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Texas A&M University, before graduating with honors from Texas A&M University Health Science Center College of Medicine. After graduation, Dr. Kneip completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. He then went on to complete a fellowship in sports medicine at Baylor College of Medicine. While in fellowship training, Dr. Kneip assisted in the care of teams such as the Houston Texans, Houston Astros, and the Houston Rockets. Dr. Kneip is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons.
An avid hunter, Dr. Kneip enjoys being outside in the woods almost as much as he enjoys rooting for the Aggies. Known for his relatable personality and big smile, Dr. Kneip is respected and loved by his wife and four kids, as well as all of his patients.
