Craig E. Hanson, MD received his B. S. from Andrews University and his medical degree from Michigan State University School of Medicine. He completed his OB-GYN residency at Providence Hospital in Southfield, Michigan and has been in private practice in Van Wert, Ohio since 1995. He joined Women's Health Advantage in 2010. He was an Assistant Professor of OB-GYN at University of Toledo Medical School and active in teaching third and fourth year medical students. His clinical interests are treating pelvic pain, interstitial cystitis, urinary incontinence, pelvic prolapse and advanced laparoscopic surgeries. Dr. Hanson is board certified in OB-GYN and FPMRS (Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Sugery). He is a member of the Ohio State Medical Association, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the Indiana State Medical Association, the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons, and the American Urogynecologic Society.

Dr. Hanson is an SRC Accredited Surgeon of Excellence recognized for practicing the Gold Standard of Surgical Care in Robotic Surgery, Minimally Invasive Surgery, and Minimally Invasive Gynecology through Dupont Hospital.

Dr. Hanson has office hours at both our Lutheran and Dupont locations.
