Darryl F. Cannady II, MD is an orthopaedic surgeon with fellowship training in adult reconstructive hip and knee replacement surgery. He earned his medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. His orthopaedic residency training was completed at Orlando Health. Lastly, he completed his fellowship training at the University of California, Los Angeles.
Dr. Cannady has substantial training in both operative and non-operative orthopaedic care. His education and training afforded him the opportunity to treat complex primary and revision hip and knee arthroplasty patients. Dr. Cannady has training in anterior, posterior, and lateral hip approaches for hip arthroplasty. He utilizes excellent communication and personalized patient plans in order to optimize outcomes.
Dr. Cannady is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, and the J. Robert Gladden Orthopaedic Society. He also serves as a reviewer for the Journal of Arthroplasty. Dr. Cannady has co-authored publications in multiple journals.
