This includes a screening or diagnostic colonoscopy with or without specimens/polyps removal by biopsy or brushing.

- Physician feephysician supervision & treatment in hospital. Does NOT include the initial evaluation to determine the need of the procedure.
- Anesthesiologist feeregional or general anesthesia for the entire duration of the procedure
- Pathology feespecimen(s) examination and tests for diagnosis. This test does not include the pathologic workup of malignancy. If malignancy is discovered during your procedure, additional charges will be incurred.
- Tendo Marketplace feeCovers the cost of contracting upfront rates with all involved medical providers, processing payment, and distributing funds, minimizing administrative overhead and allowing for a lower total price

Edward V. Schultz, MD, FACP, joined Bluffton Medical Group in April 2014. Prior to joining, he was a gastroenterologist with Parkview Physician Group in Fort Wayne for three years. Before joining PPG, he was a gastroenterologist with Indiana Medical Associates for 23 years.
Dr. Schultz graduated from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Ind., in 1979 with a bachelor’s degree, and he earned a medical degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis in 1982. He completed an internship in 1983, a residency in 1985 and a fellowship in 1987 at Indiana University Hospital in Indianapolis, an affiliate of the Indiana University School of Medicine and Indiana University Health.
Dr. Schultz, who is a fellow in the American College of Physicians, is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association, the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the American Medical Association and the Fort Wayne Medical Association. He is also a clinical assistant professor at the Indiana University School of Medicine in Fort Wayne.
