Dr. Cassidy grew up in New York City and Connecticut. She completed her undergraduate studies at University of Notre Dame and then attended University of Connecticut School of Medicine. She completed her OB GYN training at St Vincent's Hospital in New York City. After completing her residency, Dr Cassidy worked as a faculty attending, teaching residents and maintaining a private practice at both Lenox Hill Hospital and NYU Hospital. She is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Although she is a born and bred New Yorker, after visiting family in Nashville several times, Dr Cassidy decided to move here in 2006. She loves Nashville and the great family atmosphere it offers.

Dr. Cassidy enjoys all aspects of being an OB/GYN, but especially appreciates the opportunity to work with women and help to educate them to make them more empowered over their own health. Dr Cassidy is married and she and her husband have four children. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, Excercising and spending time with family.
