About Emad Amirhom, MD
Emad Amirhom, MD
Board-certified general surgeon Emad Amirhom, M.D., specializes in open and minimally invasive surgery, including robotic-assisted and laparoscopic surgery. He treats a range of illnesses and injuries, including appendicitis, hernias, gallbladder disease, breast cancer, colon cancer, thyroid issues and others. Dr. Amirhom believes an excellent doctor-patient relationship is essential to the patient's overall well-being, and working cross-collaboratively with the team gives patients the best possible outcome.
Amirhom graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Cairo University in Cairo, Egypt. He completed a surgical oncology residency with the National Cancer Institute at Cairo University and a general surgery residency at Bronx Health System in Bronx, New York. Dr. Amirhom also practiced as a general practitioner with the Ministry of Health in Cairo, Egypt.
In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, swimming and soccer.
