Evan Longfield, M.D., is a Texas native with roots in San Antonio and Lampasas County. He earned his bachelor’s degree with honors in Humanities and Fine Arts at Milligan College. He completed his post baccalaureate premedical requirements at UT: San Antonio while working as a professional photographer. He earned his medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine, where he received a grant to collaborate with the Houston Museum of Fine Arts in offering a medical humanities course. Dr. Longfield completed his residency in Otolaryngology — Head & Neck Surgery (Ear, Nose, and Throat) at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center, New Orleans. While in Residency, he presented original research at multiple national meetings and was awarded 1st place at his program’s annual resident research day.
