This is for a vaginal delivery for an uncomplicated pregnancy (i.e. the mother did not exhibit any of these complications during pregnancy cardiac problems, diabetes, pre-term labor, hypertension, toxemia, etc) with routine prenatal and post delivery visits.
Price Details
Your purchase includes the following services:
- Physician feeRoutine visits to the doctor for prenatal care, vaginal delivery with or without cervical dilation, episiotomy, and/or forceps, as well as the postpartum visits.
This fee does not include the lab fees (blood work), pathologist (reading of the pap smear), routine ultrasounds, or circumcision.
- Facility fee1-3 days stay in the hospital for the mother and ONE well newborn. Length of stay in the hospital will be the decision of your physician based on your medical needs. If postpartum complications occur, the mother or the newborn may be required to stay longer in the hospital and there will be an additional charge for each day.
- Anesthesiologist feeregional or general anesthesia for the entire duration of the procedure
- Pediatrician feeThis DOES NOT INCLUDE the exam performed by a pediatrician. You will receive a bill for this portion.
- Hospitalist feeservices provided by a hospitalist, a doctor who is responsible for coordinating medical care for hospitalized patients if your physician becomes unavailable
- Tendo Marketplace feeCovers the cost of contracting upfront rates with all involved medical providers, processing payment, and distributing funds, minimizing administrative overhead and allowing for a lower total price

Dr. Gregory Thomas attended the University of Iowa for medical school and completed his family practice residency at Broadlawns Medical Center in Des Moines. After residency, Thomas practiced rural medicine in Parker, Arizona, and in Logan before returning to Council Bluffs in 1992 where he has practiced ever since.
