Dr. Jacob Worsham is a native of Tulsa where he graduated from Bishop Kelley in 2004. Following high school, Dr. Worsham earned his undergraduate degree in biochemistry at Saint Louis University. He completed medical school at The University of Oklahoma. Dr. Worsham fulfilled his orthopedic surgery residency in Jacksonville, Florida. While in Jacksonville he had the opportunity to train at the University of Florida, Mayo Clinic, and Nemours Children's Clinic — all allowing him to be exposed to a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions and treatment options in all age groups. Dr. Worsham then completed a dedicated sports medicine and arthroscopic fellowship at UTHealth Houston. During this time, he had extensive hands-on experience in sports medicine treating high school, collegiate and professional athletes including serving as assistant team physician for the Houston Texans, Houston Astros, Houston Rockets, Houston Dynamo, and the University of Houston Cougars. He participated actively in caring for Houston high schools' sports and 2021 Orthopaedic Team Physician for the Katy Paetow Panthers 5A Division 1 Texas State Champion Football team. When not practicing medicine or helping athletes on the sideline - Dr. Worsham enjoys time with his family, fishing, outdoor activities and physical fitness.
