- Physician feephysician supervision & treatment in hospital. Does NOT include the initial evaluation to determine the need of the procedure.
- Anesthesiologist feeregional or general anesthesia for the entire duration of the procedure
- Pathology feeDOES NOT INCLUDE A PATHOLOGY FEE. The patient may receive a bill for this portion.

Dr. Jeffery Merz grew up in Falls City, Nebraska. His undergraduate studies were done at University of Nebraska – Lincoln and his medical degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. His residency was done at the Spartanburg Regional Medical Center in Spartanburg, SC. Dr. Merz has been a general surgeon in Kearney since 2000. His skills include, but are not limited to robotic procedures, colonoscopies, and endoscopies. He is married with four children. Dr. Merz enjoys barbequing, skiing, and hunting.
