This includes a whole body gallium scan without a SPECT scan. This is a nuclear medicine exam to look for swelling (inflammation), infection, or cancer in the body.

Nuclear medicine is a specialized area of radiology that uses very small amounts of radioactive materials (given either orally or intravenously) to examine an organ’s structure and metabolic function. Our technologists are all licensed by the State of Ohio, and nationally as well, to ensure your tests are performed professionally. Our technologists are happy to perform any test ordered by your physician. Our support personnel will then work together to see that your physician receives your test results in a timely manner. You should contact your physician following your test to receive your test results.
