Dr. Metildi is a board-certified general surgeon who is passionate about minimally invasive surgery. He is the only general surgeon in southern New Mexico who is actively performing robotic procedures, as well as incisionless surgical treatment for severe heartburn or GERD. Dr. Metildi completed medical school at the University of Buffalo School of Medicine in Buffalo, NY, and completed his residency at the Naval Medical Center San Diego. He is a member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons, and the American Gastrointestinal & Endoscopic Surgeons. In his spare time, you can find Dr. Metildi on the golf course, or spending time with his wife, Carmen, and their 5 dogs.
