Dr. Lindsey Sward, a native of Conway, Arkansas, completed her medical degree at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 2009. There she received the Roberts Key award given the graduating senior with the highest scholastic grade point average. She was also named to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor medical society. Dr. Sward went on to complete her residency in obstetrics and gynecology, also at UAMS. Dr. Sward joined the UAMS Obstetrics and Gynecology staff in 2015. She served as the medical student clerkship director from 2017 to 2022, winning numerous education awards including five Golden Apple Awards and numerous Red and Gold Sash teaching awards. She was appointed to the role of Assistant Dean for Clinical Education in the UAMS College of Medicine in 2022, where she serves to educate our state’s newest physicians. She continues to serve her patients and the women of the state of Arkansas with her work in the OB/Gyn department as well.
