Matthew Britt, MD, is a skilled podiatric surgeon serving patients at the Wylie and Rockwall, Texas, locations of Orthopaedic Specialists of Dallas. He trained under more than 30 of the leading foot and ankle specialists in Dallas and was voted best Podiatrist by Living Magazine for 2017.

Dr. Britt is board-certified in foot surgery and ankle surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He is also board-certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. He is a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and the American College of Foot and Ankle Orthopedics and Medicine. He is also a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, Texas Podiatric Medical Association, and Dallas County Podiatric Medical Society.

Dr. Britt graduated from Lousiana State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio, where he graduated in the top of his class. Dr. Britt completed a three-year foot and ankle surgical residency program at Hunt Regional Medical Center. His training focused on conservative therapy and reconstructive surgery.

A key component of Dr. Britt’s care philosophy is patient education. He actively trains medical residents in foot and ankle surgery education. He also works with patients to help them understand all aspects of their care.

Dr. Britt is married with two sons and one daughter. He enjoys spending time with his family, supporting the LSU football team, hunting, and fishing.
