Dr. Flynn is a fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine. She began her post-secondary education at the University of Notre Dame where she received her bachelor’s degree. Dr. Flynn then proceeded on to receive her medical degree at Georgetown University in Washington DC, where she acquired awards for leadership and teaching in addition to being elected class vice president. After receiving her medical degree, Dr. Flynn began her surgical training at Columbia University in New York and completed her orthopedic residency at the Cleveland Clinic. Rounding out her training, Dr. Flynn completed her sports medicine fellowship at the prestigious American Sports Medicine Institute in Birmingham Alabama.
She is highly experienced in working with athletes - from professionals to weekend warriors - where she specializes in primarily soft tissue injuries and treatments of the knee, shoulder, and elbow.
Dr. Flynn's elite surgical and non-surgical training, bedside manner, and passion for improving the well-being of her patients as well as her passion to train the next generation of physicians set her apart in the field of sports medicine.
