The otolaryngology practice at Augusta Health—also known as Ear, Nose, and Throat, or ENT—is equipped to identify and treat an impressive range of diseases and disorders, improving the quality of patients' lives. The most common conditions seen in otolaryngology include sinusitis, hearing loss, tinnitus, balance disorders, polyps, nasal and ear obstructions, voice and swallowing disorders, and both cancerous and non-cancerous tumors.
Ear, nose, and throat physicians Dr. Michael Plautz and Dr. William D. Davidson specialize in endoscopic sinus surgery with computerized navigation, a procedure used to treat chronic sinusitis. The convenient location of our otolaryngology clinic on the Augusta Health campus allows for sinus surgery and an array of other tests and treatments to be performed on site.
