“At the heart of my practice is a belief that patients should feel heard, supported and fully involved in their care,” said Dr. Brahmbhatt. “As a gastroenterologist, I believe in empowering patients with the knowledge and tools they need to take an active role in their digestive health. My approach centers on collaboration, education and personalized care that addresses the root causes of symptoms, not just short-term relief.”
Dr. Brahmbhatt’s path to medicine began as a nursing assistant, where he discovered the value of hands-on, compassionate care. That experience continues to shape his patient-centered philosophy.
Dr. Brahmbhatt, a board certified gastroenterologist, specializes in adult gastroenterology, with interests in irritable bowel syndrome, gastroesophageal reflux disease, inflammatory bowel disease, liver disease and cirrhosis. He performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including endoscopy, colonoscopy, endoscopic mucosal resection, pH monitoring, hemorrhoid banding and percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy tube placement. He also provides colon cancer screening, chronic liver disease management and nutritional guidance for digestive health.
“My time as faculty at the University of Pennsylvania reinforced my commitment to evidence-based care and long-term patient relationships,” said Dr. Brahmbhatt. “Gastroenterology is a perfect fit because it combines procedural precision with problem-solving and lasting impact.”
Outside of the clinic, he enjoys weightlifting, cycling, Brazilian jiu-jitsu and maintaining blind optimism as a Chicago Bears fan. In addition to English, Dr. Brahmbhatt is fluent in Gujarati.
