An arthrogram is a test using Contrast X-rays to obtain a series of pictures of a joint. It may be done alone or with other tests such as an MRI scan or CT scan.

About North Alabama Medical Center
The NAMC Radiology Department provides services for inpatients and outpatients. This includes neonates, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. Our services comprise diagnostic radiography, surgical radiography, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, mammography, special procedures, MRI and CT. We have staff on duty 24/7.
Our staff members (technologists) have appropriate registrations within their field of performance. They also hold appropriate state licensures, as required by law.
Most of our images are digital and are captured into PACS (Picture Archival Computer System). Patients needing digital images for review by independent practitioners may request the images by contacting our department at 256-7629-1200. Images can be placed on a CD for easy transport and access.
