At North Okaloosa Medical Center, diagnostic imaging is used to create a graphic depiction of the structures and functions of the body’s organs and other internal systems. These images are used to examine and diagnose certain medical conditions. The radiologists at North Okaloosa Medical Center and our Outpatient Care Center are board certified. We offer full-scale services to the community, as well as a Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) that provides us with immediate, detailed diagnostic images for faster and more accurate diagnoses. All of our team members, including radiologists, technologists and nurses, are specially trained in their fields and work with your primary physician to make sure that you receive thorough care. Our facility uses modern equipment and technology for detailed images and quick, accurate results. This allows us to find and treat serious illnesses—such as heart disease, lung disease, cancer and strokes—in their early stages.
