Dr. Scanlon is a native of Jackson, Mississippi, and received his Medical Degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in 1994. He completed his Surgical Residency at the Carraway Methodist Medical Center, Birmingham, Alabama, in 1999. Dr. Scanlon is a Diplomate of The American Board of Surgery, a Member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons, and a Fellow of The American College of Surgeons. Dr. Scanlon has recently been certified in Hidden Scar Breast Cancer Surgery.
