Procedure Details
This includes a back surgery (lumbar laminectomy/discectomy). Lumbar laminectomy is the removal of lamina. A discectomy is the removal of a herniated disc. Please note that if imaging is performed during the surgery, you may recieve a bill from the radiologist.

- Physician feetreatment and procedure-related postoperative follow-up visit(s) within 90 days of surgery. Does NOT include the initial evaluation to determine the need of the procedure.
- Anesthesiologist feeregional or general anesthesia for the entire duration of the procedure
- Pathology feeDOES NOT INCLUDE A PATHOLOGY FEE. The patient may receive a bill for this portion.

Dr. Paul Stanton is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with surgical expertise in all aspects of spinal surgery, including minimally invasive techniques and complex reconstructive techniques for the cervical spine, adult spinal deformity, and degenerative scoliosis.
During his fellowship training, Dr. Stanton was involved in clinical research, investigating less invasive lateral approaches to the thoracic and lumbar spine for spinal deformity. He has a special interest in minimally invasive reconstructive procedures for adult spinal deformity, and he actively continues his research efforts. Dr. Stanton is happy to be living in Colorado Springs with his wife. After many trips to Colorado, they are glad to finally call it home.
