Dr. Ryan Cone, a native of Roswell, Georgia, is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in adult hip and knee reconstruction. He is board- eligible by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons and treats patients age 18 and over. After graduating magna cum laude from the University of Georgia, Dr. Cone received his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia, where he was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. Dr. Cone is also fellowship trained and credentialed in robotic assisted surgery for total hip, total knee and partial knee replacements which allows for personalization of implant placement based on patients individual anatomy. In select patients, Dr. Cone also performs a muscle sparing subvastus approach for total knee replacement which allows for improved recovery time and less pain following surgery. He is an active member of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons (AAHKS) and has conducted extensive research in hip and knee reconstruction. His training confers expertise in a broad array of scientific topics such as implant design, outcomes, surgical techniques and complications of primary and revision total joint arthroplasty (TJA).
