Procedure Details
This includes a gastric sleeve. The laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy is a bariatric procedure for weight loss. This also includes a liver biopsy when performed.
Price Details
Your purchase includes the following services:
- Facility feeoperating and recovery room services & supplies for a normal inpatient stay (average 1 to 2 days) which will be determined by your physician at Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford
- Physician feetreatment and procedure-related postoperative follow-up visit(s) within 90 days of surgery. Does NOT include the initial evaluation to determine the need of the procedure.
- Anesthesiologist feeregional or general anesthesia for the entire duration of the procedure
- Pathology feespecimen(s) examination and tests for diagnosis. This test does not include the pathologic workup of malignancy. If malignancy is discovered during your procedure, additional charges will be incurred.
- Hospitalist feeDOES NOT INCLUDE THE HOSPITALIST FEE. Hospitals often contract with hospitalist groups who provide care to patients if the primary care physician becomes unavailable. If your situation requires hospitalist services, you will receive a bill from the hospitalist group.
