Steven K. Jordan, M.D. is a Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeon and Partner of South Florida Orthopedics & Sports Medicine. Dr. Jordan attended college and medical school at the University of South Florida in Tampa. He completed his Orthopedic Surgery training at Georgia Baptist Medical Center (now Atlanta Medical Center) in Atlanta, Georgia in 2001.
Dr. Jordan has special expertise and interest in the latest techniques in minimally invasive hip and knee replacement. He believes in the importance of tailoring the surgical approach for hip replacement to each patient, with extensive experience in the direct anterior approach, minimally invasive posterior approach, and anterior-lateral approach. He utilizes the latest technologies and innovative techniques in minimally invasive knee replacement surgery to assist the patient in the best and most long-lasting outcome. He also enjoys Sports Medicine and treating athletic injuries and fractures.
Dr. Jordan serves on the Infection Control Committee and Medical Staff Bylaws Committee for Martin Health System. He also served on the EPIC Physician Advisory Committee during the planning and implementation of Martin Health System’s electronic medical record, EPIC. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons as well as a member of Southern Orthopedic Association and Florida Orthopedic Society.
