Since 2004, Dr. Timothy Walker has practiced orthopedics in Sioux Falls, specializing in total hip replacement, including anterior and standard approaches, total knee replacement, partial knee replacement, knee arthroscopy, and anterior approach total hip arthroplasty. In addition, he offers robotic-assisted total hip replacement and robotic-assisted partial knee replacement.
Born and raised in Indiana, Dr. Walker attended, and played football at Butler University, received a master’s degree from Purdue, and a doctorate from Indiana University. After medical school, Dr. Walker trained as a pediatric orthopedic research fellow at Indiana University and interned in general surgery at Indiana School of Medicine.
He performed his residency at Indiana University School of Medicine, is board-certified in orthopedics, and holds a subspecialty certificate in sports medicine.
When he is not working, Dr. Walker enjoys staying active by playing sports, running, hiking, weightlifting, and supporting his kids in their activities.
