Procedure Details

This includes an anterior cervical discectomy and fusion (ACDF). Anterior cervical discectomy with fusion, or ACDF, is a surgery designed to relieve spinal cord or nerve root pressure in the neck by removing all or part of a damaged disc. Please note that if imaging is performed during the surgery, you may recieve a bill from the radiologist. A New Patient Office Visit must be purchased before purchasing this bundle.

    operating and recovery room services & supplies for outpatient stay (less than 24 hours) at OrthoSC
  • Implants
    Implants are included in the price of the bundle.
  • Physician fee
    treatment and procedure-related postoperative follow-up visit(s) within 90 days of surgery. Does NOT include the initial evaluation to determine the need of the procedure.
  • Anesthesiologist fee
    regional or general anesthesia for the entire duration of the procedure
  • Pathology fee
    DOES NOT INCLUDE A PATHOLOGY FEE. The patient may receive a bill for this portion.
  • Tendo Marketplace fee
    Covers the cost of contracting upfront rates with all involved medical providers, processing payment, and distributing funds, minimizing administrative overhead and allowing for a lower total price

About Todd D Cook, MD
Dr. Todd Cook began practicing orthopedic spine surgery in the Grand Strand area in 2015. He holds a doctor of chiropractic degree from Life University in Marietta, Georgia, and graduated summa cum laude from Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia, with a bachelor of science degree. He later attended The George Washington University School of Medicine & Health Sciences in Washington, D.C.
After earning his medical degree, Dr. Cook completed his internship and orthopedic surgery residency training at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. Dr. Cook then went on to complete additional subspecialty training in spine surgery through a fellowship at the University of California in Davis, California, and he was later certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
Originally from Roswell, Georgia, Dr. Cook, his wife, Alexis, and their two sons reside on Pawleys Island. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, fishing, live music, outdoor activities, and spending time with family.
Dr. Cook is available to see back, neck, and spine patients at our Murrells Inlet office.
