A Colorado native, Dr. William (Billy) Baumgartner returns to Colorado to join Nadora Healthcare in the Fall of 2024 as our Hand & Upper Extremity Surgeon following the successful completion of his Orthopaedic Hand & Upper Extremity Fellowship at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
Prior to successfully completing his fellowship in hand & upper extremity surgery, Dr. Baumgartner completed his orthopaedic surgical residency at the University of California, Davis in 2023. Prior to attending residency, Dr. Baumgartner earned his medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine in 2018. He also earned his Bachelor of Arts in Visual Media & Health Disparities in 2014 from Duke as well; graduating Magna Cum Laude.
An avid outdoorsman, Dr. Baumgartner can be found enjoying the Colorado outdoors either snowboarding or mountain biking depending on the season. He also loves to surf, play the piano, ukulele and is an amateur filmmaker! Having produced two documentaries as an independent film maker. To top it off, Dr. Baumgartner is also bilingual, being fluent in Spanish & English.
